I've just received my extension of stay based on retirement. I had no issues with Jomtien Immigration in fact I was a little apprehensive after the nightmare stories. I went over prepared as I didn't want another trip to BKK for Income verification. The letter had been stamped 10 days previously. Anyway Jomtien barely looked at anything, payment and stamp were done in 25 min.

I'll be out of the Country when my 90 day report is due..is this going to be a PROBLEM.

Thanks

No, your return will be your 90 day report

Like the title of the form Tm.47 says, you have to submit that notification only if you stay in Thailand longer than 90 days at a time, ie since your last arrival or since your last notification.

Do not forget to obtain a re-entry permit, or you'll lose the extension when you leave the kingdom.

As others have said there isno problem as obviously, if you are out of the country on the 90-day report, you haven't stayed in the country for 90 days so no report is necessary.

As Crossy said, the most important thing is getting the re-entry permit or when you come back, you start at the beginning again. Get a multiple re-entry permit if you plan to travel out of the country more than 2x during any given year.
