Would just like to warn everyone about the 8000 I had last year. It was a disaster, the thing leaked every time I went in the water. After the third trip to the shop, Olympus honored the wty (intl but purchased US) in BKK. It was replaced without fuss with the 8010. The 8010 is a HUGE improvement and did make it thru a few more trips without incident.

The color is crap

Photos are fuzzy and grainy

Photos are soft (no sharpness setting)

Sunlight is a real problem as there is no lip over the lens.

Menu is annoying
