Adobe Flash Player Won'T Work

I uninstalled Adobe Flash player and re-installed the latest from the Adobe site. It shows that it is installed in Control Panel and in Un-install Programs.

However, web sites that require this plug in no longer work.

What can I do?

Windows XP with SP3 and all updates, Firefox 4.01 (primary browser) and Internet Explorer 8.

Clear your browser's cache, cookies, and history.

If it still doesn't work, uninstall all versions of Flash Player and reinstall using the links below.
