I knew it was european City of Culture a while back too. I spent hours researching cities all over Europe trying to work this out. I dismissed Britain as I thought it would be answered in minutes by one of the thousands of Brits on tv. Thanks (Did you know Lisbon has very similar lamp posts to Glasgow?)
