Sending Sms To Thailand

Featured Replies

I use to use Google Voice to send SMS to Thailand, now google voice blocks it. My mobile provider is $0.25 to send and $0.20 to receieve international SMS. Anyone recommend other solutions? Skype is 7.3 cents, but has many limitations.

Thanks

Where are you currently physically located?

What is your per SMS budget?

Do you care if the recipient can directly reply to your SMS?

http://www.clickatell.com/pricing/pricing_wizard.php $0.05 per SMS ( five U.S. Cents )

There have been a gazillion threads on this subject, I honestly can't recall the other options, all of which have limitations, and perhaps not a 100% rate of delivery.

Whatsapp runs on several HW platforms: Android, iPhone, Blackberry, Nokia. And you do need a data connection: GPRS, 3G or WiFi, so not free per se.

I use Fish Text, but I don't know if you can register with a USA number.

can I use a local Thai number to register ?

Try it. It will either let you register or it won't. But the Thai SIM must be on and be able to receive messages via SMS.
