Terrible the last week.

Extremely slow (actually slower then AIS Edge), time outs, disconnects, the lot.

Nothing wrong with signal, this is very good, and at 4 am speeds can go over 3 mbps.

Early evening, mostly under 50 kbps (yes, that's dial-up), sometimes momentarily it goes at maybe 80 kbps, and the odd 220 kbps spike (less then 2 seconds).

See screenshot.

Did they offer any reasons for the degradation in performance?

Are you able to try 3G in other locations? (via a smartphone or notebook PC)

How long have you had True 3G? What is your hardware set-up? What applications do you use? Which True package do you have? Pre-paid? Post-paid? Did this service ever work satisfactorily for you? If so, when did it start to degrade? Are you downloading off-shore content? Maybe via bittorrent?

I was thinking maybe you've exceeded your monthly download quota, but the reference to 3 Mbps would seem to negate that cause.

Nope, haven't even been able to get support on the line. I work during the day, and they don't seem to work evenings!

Nope

How long have you had True 3G?

2 + months

What is your hardware set-up? What applications do you use?

Regular PC, only surfing the net, nothing in the background.

Which True package do you have? Pre-paid? Post-paid? Did this service ever work satisfactorily for you?

Pre-paid, 3GB volume based package. Worked OK first weeks. Peak times 0.5 mbps or more, off peak 2+ mbps.

No bittorent at all, degraded over the last 2 weeks. Speeds during peak times are way down, to becomeing useless, and peaktimes seem to have extended. Before after 10 PM it started to pick up in speed, now it's 3 AM. And 6 AM starts to slow down already.

BTW, international speedtests always under 80 kbps, TrueMove speedtest, 2 Mbps or more, even peaktimes.

Nope, my package just stops after 3 GB, have to switch to edge then if the month is not finished.

That sucks...I guess you can't get a broadband connection for you PC so that's why you use a 3G dongle?

I get great speeds from B-TV cable-net service and use EDGE/Wifi on the phone when out of the house...but still miss the 3G phone network I enjoyed on my last visa-run to Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA
