LivinginKata Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 Last weekend at Kata, was stunner central regarding the ladies. My neck is still tweaked from gawking about. GOM, maybe should be DOM .... just kidding buddy !!! But I know what you are saying. I walk along the beach each morning and there have been some nice sights most days. I point them out to my wife ... saves me getting into any further trouble.............
KarenBravo Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 Too hot. Would rather have dramatic brooding skys with some rain (for the garden).
mikejphuket Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 You must be a farmer- complain about the weather no matter what it is!! Too hot. Would rather have dramatic brooding skys with some rain (for the garden).
stuandchris Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 You have done it now, the forecast for next week is crap!
KarenBravo Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 You must be a farmer- complain about the weather no matter what it is!! Of course! I'm British, it comes with the territory.
katabeachbum Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 You must be a farmer- complain about the weather no matter what it is!! Of course! I'm British, it comes with the territory. Thanks for reminding me, I ll go and close the garden sprinkler
petercallen Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 It would be nice to have some rain We have to water the garden every day which is unusual for this time of the year
Shot Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 (edited) A heavy rain storm would be in good order. I like the crack of thunder, and some light in the sky at night. Not to mention, the street could use a good cleaning. Edited July 9, 2011 by Shot
grumpyoldman Posted July 10, 2011 Author Posted July 10, 2011 Too hot. Would rather have dramatic brooding skys with some rain (for the garden). Surely we'll get enough of that Sept-Oct. For now I'll take what we've got. Yesterday at Nai Harn beach was heaven, yes hot, but a constant onshore wind was like a big fan blowing on you. Perfect..
KarenBravo Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Too hot. Would rather have dramatic brooding skys with some rain (for the garden). Surely we'll get enough of that Sept-Oct. My garden needs water now, not in Sept-Oct.
steelepulse Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Supposedly Monday through Wednesday we'll be seeing a lot of rain.
bubblegum Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Would like some rain too. Forecast rain next weak hmmmm.........when was the weather forecast correct?
evanson Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Great weather - touch wood it carries on It hasn't.
katasyd Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Another cracking day after 3 days of on and off rain. Beer for lunch.
grumpyoldman Posted July 14, 2011 Author Posted July 14, 2011 (edited) edit:( funny electric blip made for a weird formatted post) RE: to Evanson's "it hasn't" Yes, but the surf has come back up, so I'm taking the good with the bad (weather) Edited July 14, 2011 by grumpyoldman
katabeachbum Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 edit:( funny electric blip made for a weird formatted post) RE: to Evanson's "it hasn't" Yes, but the surf has come back up, so I'm taking the good with the bad (weather) its been cloudy and rain showers, but not enough rain for garden or to increase waterlevel in pool. so today I topped up and watered garden

My garden needs water now, not in Sept-Oct. You don't have to water, Sept-Oct? What happens if rains do not come, dry up....HUH?
Ping Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 I assume KarenBravo is now high 5ing everyone he meets.
KarenBravo Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 I assume KarenBravo is now high 5ing everyone he meets. I would if I was there. Love rainy season, not just because it's less crowded, but, the weather, too. Presently, in Norway.
steelepulse Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 High season weather is back. It's so hot and sunny at the beach, that I need a break from the heat. According to one of the more accurate weather sites out there, we're looking at more nice high season days. http://www.windguru.cz/int/index.php?sc=310
