Mb BJ - serious question - also given the Tevez runaround, do you reckon Mancini has a problem managing City's bigger stars?

If you look at the players who Mancini has supposedly had a problem with...... Tevez, Bellamy and Adebayor.

The performance of Tevez on the field never changed, he always gave 100%. Adebayor and Bellamy acted like school kids and were put in their place by Mancini.

I think Mancini handles the players very well.

I have to say the Everton thread is as dull as David Moyes but thats a separate issue. Maybe its just the pre season warm up.

Joking apart, what would make a good thread, if not drailed would actually be one about Benitez. Why has such a decent and seemingly very pleasant guy evoked such contrasting opinions across the country?

I for one just don't know what to make of him. A real enigma.

This is a bit of a here "we go again" topic and if i want it continued i will start a thread but, i really do find it a strange one.

i don't know, it is odd. liverpool fans have moved on about him now, it seems that it's fans of other clubs who are obsessed with him.

and you're right, he really is a decent and genuinely nice man. he's also a very, very good football manager. i don't know why so many people are so down on him while they line up to kiss the arse of scumbags like mourinho for example.

It's nice to know it's not just footy fans who are delusional:

From Metro Online:

Stewart Downing: I've made Liverpool transfer to win trophies and titles

Does anyone know what role Comolli is really playing at Anfield? It seems to me King Kenny isn't really in control of transfer policy. Not that they have yet done anything wrong in the transfer market (except sign that overvalued Lummox, Carroll, and pay a bit too much for Henderson and Downing).
