Oberkommando
DTAC are just being admonished for complaining about the corruption and irregularities in the CAT-True deal. The court agreed with DTAC, but allowed the deal to continue.

volk666
Dtac was too late to complain about CAT-True deal, they had to challenge it before it happened, they had an equal right to bid for sales of both the frequency and the network. Now it's too late, the sale has been arranged in such a way that True got both and yet still doesn't own it on paper when Dtac took it to courts. Now the same courts that told Dtac to <deleted> off regarding quiet sale of a state property to a private firm has also told Dtac that they are themselves illegal. So Dtac is at war with CAT, its concession holder, True, CAT's favorite client and CP's own baby, and the courts, in a country ruled by it's arch nemesis - AIS, and it has no backup whatsoever, just the law books and "sentiment" about foreign investment. It will be either screwed of its assets and forced out or will be reduced to begging its competitors for mercy every time they want to put up a cell tower. Orange spent billions of baht and in the end wrote it off and handed it to their Thai partner.

Richard4849
What about NTT? NTT Communication is owned 100% by the Japanese parent company. There aren't any Thai shareholders or directors whatsoever. Or is the restriction only to telecoms companies which operate cellular networks?
elcent
This is an attack for an indoctrinated globalists agenda. It will be easier to control one major company than two or more . It's not about mobile phone (alone), this is just the front of a related undertaking. On the medium and long run, it's about internet censorship. Guess who lobbied in Washington again and again. One has to think a few windings further to see of what it actually is. Could you please elaborate further? Your post sounds fascinating, but deep with currents of which I'm unfamiliar...lobbying Washington? who? Sorry, various lacuna in my knowledge-base make it hard to keep up (dang, I can't read _everything_!! But I try, I try......) Thanks When I mentioned globalists(it's a shame, but they're using this word to sell their agendas), I mean the large corporates' businesses attempt to control the world which is run by the big Z., including the financial industries. When you follow up how a certain Mr. T got his wealth, you will find out quiclky the connections. He was/is used as a stooge and member of the CFR and other international secret societies. - The same that bring down tha American populace right now. It's nearly impossible to explain details briefly. Mr. T renewed his Lobbying in Washington D.C. in October 2010. I posted the image of the original somewhere here on this website. When you research the background of the secret societies, their powerful powerful positions, you will always end up with the Z. Unfortunately the democrat govt has/had also no vision and/or analytical skills or else they wouldn't have initiated this for Mr. T.
nikster
Xenophobia from THE DEMOCRATS. Wake up and smell the coffee. In contrast, I cannot find any anti-foreign sentiment at PTP, or at least not more than what alreadt exists among the civil service and the outgoing government. Xenophobia? Hardly. This is just business, and no qualms using dirty tricks. Funny they leave AIS alone now, even though everyone knows AIS is owned by Temasek of Singapore. The problem I see coming is for True. I don't think that utterly amazing True-CAT-3G deal is going to go ahead as planned. WHOOPS!

Another word for that is ineptitude........ Orange was all mouth, little substance. p.s. Orange was bought out at that time, and issues a new policy to out of Asia, or is that conveniently forgotten.
