Raw Food

Featured Replies

I'm currently in the process of adjusting my lifestyle to 85% raw.

80% fruit+5%veggies.

I know it sounds easy and 'cheap' BUT my palate is very limited.... I have lots of food quirks.

Most of the fruits I enjoy are of the imported kind. I don't eat 'local' fruits save for pineapple and

banana and watermelon.

Anyway, I live somewhere in Thonglor area. While supermarkets abound where I live in (2 Villas are walking distance from me),

fruits can get pretty expensive and the quality not so good either (for fruits, their veggie selection good enough for me).

For example, I can get Oranges for 9 baht in the Philippines where I come from vs 15 Baht in Villa and that fruit stand at Thonglor BTS.

(I'm an orange person. Sweet tasty satisfies whatever sweet craving I have and NOT fattening)

So yeah, I'm looking for places within the "vicinity" (though I prefer places not more than 2km from where I live aka walking distance,

obviously that's not happening so by "vicinity" I mean accessible enough by public transport and not a chore to trek to) that sells apples and

oranges and kiwi on the cheap. :)
