It seems like a decent low-end/entry-level Android phone. Probably a bit under-powered? I guess it really depends on your applications and requirements? Strange that True is hawking it but it doesn't support 850 Mhz 3G? Go figure.

I'd recommend going into the mid-range with perhaps the Samsung Cooper, or HTC Wildfire S.

I have one, and I like it. The screen is indeed smallish, but OK for me as my eyes are still good. The biggest complaint I have is battery life. It doesn't last all day if you are using it constantly to play music, video, etc. If you use the GPS, you can practically watch the battery meter drop.

Everything I read says that the processor is underpowered, but since this one is my first, it feels OK to me. Kinda like being a virgin: can't miss what you never had!

The other downfall to this processor is that it doesn't support flash.

Bummed to see it being marketed by True... with HSDPA 7.2 (850/2100 MHz). It must be a new release for them, because only 900 / 2100 was available when I bought mine. I wanted 850, because I am already a true customer. Oh well.

I'm going to upgrade eventually, but this has been an excellent set of "Android training wheels" for me.
