I have a retirement visa and I wish to get a Thai drivers licence. Does anyone know where I can apply for one in BKK.

Take a look in the Forums Section under Motoring. You'll find all the answers you need. There a re three places in Bangkok North , South and East. Can;t tell you exact but look through the section first.

If you are from the U.S., and have a valid state driver's license the process is very easy. I went to the DLT on Sukhumvit, a building ~ 500 m back from Sukhumvit, just southeast of Soi 99 (new Bang Chak BTS station). (Transport Area 9 Office on Google Maps.)
