Was hoping for Greece Montenegro and Israel.....shame England missed out on France as well....that would have made for a cracking group.

Well having seen that the clamouring will begin for the England job....looks an attractive job now no?

Money wise yes i would say very attractive, who can i think of? wink.gif

I'm hoping SAF throws his hat in the ring....a part time job might suit him well.....no need to scout players as it'll be 'lose at all costs!'

Not much competition out there for our 'Arry though is there? You better hope he don't get banged up! biggrin.gif

You know SAF will never go for that job,or any Jock for that matter it would be treachery on a grand scale.

England are in a good position,Euros coming up next year, nice group from which they should qualify for the Brazil finals.........and time to bring on the youngsters while they do it!

We do have a lot of good young talent whether they become great international players time will tell.

Looking at the groups I would say the following:

a. Croatia winners Belgium runners up

b. Italy winners Czech runners up

c. Germany winners Sweden runners up

d. Netherlands winners Turkey runners up

e. Switzerland winners Slovenia runners up

f. Portugal winners Russia runners up

g. Greece winners Slovakia runners up

h. England winners Ukraine runners up

i. Spain winners France runners up

I can see England having some bad results along the way as well

and the press will be out in Force asking for the Manager's head.

England winning by virtue of goals scored.

Sadly even England can make this seemingly easy group hard work.

Being an England fan is no different to being a Man City fan. It's a lot of stress on the heart :D

Pfft...you've no idea. The cliff roads back home are closed off for 24 hours after each Scotland game......like lemmings we'd be otherwise....

Well, since England seem determined to appoint foreign managers, why not go to Madrid and ask Jose if he'd be interested.

I hear what you're saying. Hardly a large number of English managers to stake their claim. I suspect Mourinho is too young for this now though.

Nah, England have a knack of aging people 20 years very quickly.

You mean the team or the press? laugh.gif
