I have a Wildfire which I bought here in Thailand for 8900 baht a few months ago, it's now 7900 baht because is S is here now. I would go for a Wildfire with an AIS 3G sim, it doesn't work everywhere on 3G but drops back to Edge. DTAC Edge is painfully slow where I an at least (Southern Thailand). USB Tethering is very easy and works out of the box.

Wildfire is ~ 7,900, this is an old, original version. Supports AIS/TOT 3G on 900/2100. http://www.thaimobil...TC_Wildfire.asp

Wildfire S is ~ 8,900, this is a new version, much improved. Supports True/DTAC/TOT 3G on 850/2100. http://www.thaimobil..._Wildfire_S.asp

Just make sure you get the correct phone for your preferred network.

So if i get a pay as you go TOT 3g plan. Which one do i puy the 900/1200 or the 850/2100. How does it work exactly? Maybe get the cheaper original wildfire on 900/2100? Is it the same ? Just as good?

What about samsung galaxy ace? That seems to work on

I just stopped using my Wildfire after about 6 weeks as it was so slow and had so little memory. I rapidly came to hate the thing.. I'm sure you can get better for similar money..

I now use a Galaxy S2 which is a different kettle of fish entirely...
