Charity Concert / Jam Sessions At The Green Tree

Featured Replies

Hi there,

every Sunday night is a charity concert at the Green Tree Restaurant, Beach Road, corner Soi1. We start at 6 pm until late. The benefiting charity is the Baan Jing Jai Foundation.

If you play an instrument, bring it along and join us. We also do regular rehearsals and the idea is to move away from jamming on 12-bar Blues to rehearsed sets - having said that, it is still a way to go until we are there!

Everyone is welcome, if you have any questions, please post them here and I am happy to answer.

cheers

Yeah .... I have played 3 times and while the drum set is far from ideal, I had fun.

I may not be around for a few weeks and I know that drummers are needed so I hope a few can turn up.

Good luck with this venture for a worthwhile cause.

Drummers are needed indeed, we are not short of guitarists and bass players...still, whatever instrument you play, come over! B)

And if you are not a musician - go along and enjoy the great music and help a worthy cause!!

Singers or people trying to sing needed?

Jimmy

Had a great time 2 weeks ago. Some of the musicians are incredibly good. Will try to make it tonight for sure! The venue is a nice place.
