Australia - Thailand World Cup Qualifier

Featured Replies

Shame that Thailand couldn't hold on, but they were expected to lose heavily so at least their goal difference isn't too bad. Need a win against Oman on Tuesday now, but I don't expect them or the Saudis to get a better result than Thailand in Australia, so second place is still up for grabs.

Oman Vs Saudi has just started, anyone have a stream? A draw would be good for Thailand.

Edit: that was local time actually, will start at 22:00 in Thailand.

I use this site Sport Lemon Lots of streams.

Thanks, stream doesn't seem to be working though. Usually get all these through myp2p.eu, but it appears to have been closed down.

I just checked and the stream works for me. The only problem is that it is in Arabic, so I cannot understand anything.

Here is a screen capture...

Not sure why your isp cannot view the game.

It was a boring 0-0 match anyway, but good result for Thailand. Even better one now though, half time Thailand 2-0 Oman. Need Australia to hammer the Saudis later. That game kicks off at 00:30 for those interested.

... for a few hours.

If they can take Saudi at home in the next match that would leave them very close to the next round. Although our record in the middle east is not good Oman are muck and we should get something out of that as well.

Yes, great result for both Australia and Thailand, huge game against S.A. next month. On past form S.A. should be expected to win, but on current form S.A. have been pretty bad, and Thailand have looked exciting under Schäfer. Unfortunately I wasn't in Bangkok in time to go to the Oman match, but definitely won't be missing this one.

Australia with back to back games against Oman, if they do the double over them as expected they will have already gone through, and possibly even already won the group. That would pretty much put Oman out of contention, so it's already looking like a two horse race for second place between S.A. and Thailand.

That is the group of death.

Against Oman i'd play five across the midfield with a lone striker a try to hit them on the break.

It's better than this group at least :P

Edit: Actually it's not all that much better according to the FIFA rankings ...
