August 31, 201114 yr http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/951153/thailand-players-offered-big-bonus-against-australia?cc=4716Makes it look like they won't try if they don't have this incentive. Will all of it find its way to the players?
August 31, 201114 yr Incentives are nothing new in football. I actually believe it's the best way. All players should be on a minimum wage with win bonuses etc. That way, you wouldn't get players that are seemingly not bothered i.e. Rosicky the other day. He should have been docked money for his attitude IMO.
August 31, 201114 yr agree with bojangles, i'd have far more performance-based payments in football based around a capped salary structure. and they could probably offer the thai team $1m a man, they still won't beat australia.
August 31, 201114 yr I would like to know what Robbie's incentive is to be here in Thailand,Still not really heard much about him?? a mate in the Uk's son in law was offered a fantastic package to come and play for a certain Bangkok club but because his Mrs had just had a kid he turned it down. He is only 21 and was let go by United a couple of years ago.
