Lg Aircon Remote

Featured Replies

Title says it all really, does anyone know where I can buy two LG aircon remotes here on Samui?

There's also an electrical supplier shop opposite the main car/bike entrance of Tesco/Lotus, they might have one, they may be called 'Kraithong'.

They sell some remotes at Supot (ring road between bophut and maenam), but I usually get a/c remotes from my a/c engineer. Not the cheapest (about 600 baht).

Not sure where you live, but there is an a/c shop next to Kineree in bangrak!

Thanks everyone for your help.

I went to the shop next to Sirisin.

They had one in stock but when I asked the price the old dear who served me saw I was a farang and clearly saw bahts before her eyes and asked an extortionate sum for it.

I went across the road to the one opposite Makro and got one there at a reasonable price and on sale or return if it did not work.

It works.

Think most air con shops could either sell you one or point out where to buy. There is a shop called ...here we go...." Jatalong Air"

between bohput and Manam on the corner of a soi called Soi Mantra.

good luck

Errrrrrrrr, thanks BigC, I got one already?

I bought a universal a/c remote from Tesco, great, about 300 baht. Works with all of my a/c's.

Yorkie,

you're dead right about the old girl in M + E,

she's a nightmare to deal with..

How much did you pay, mine has finally packed up!

650 and I think that was a bit high in price.

I did consider the cheaper 350 baht ones that you can programme, but you never know if they are going to work, sod's law with me, they never do.

650 baht after nine years, not too bad anyway.

Fair do's, I forgot I said I was going to buy two. Sorry PS. :jap:

One was for a bedroom we rarely use so at 650 baht each I decided I could do without one for there at the moment.
