Like since most of the cars are destroyed, do you think the Thai government will allow parts to be brought in without tarifs, and perhaps whole cars to replace the ones damaged. I kind of think if the crowd started rallying it could be a verry real possiblity. Just my thoughts.

With populist policies running at a 400 Billion Baht deficit, and then the severe economic downturn from the floods, there's more chance it'd start snowing in Bangkok, IMHO :)

its a golden opportunity for Mazda, Nissan and Ford to take market shares.

even Proton is selling now

and Toyota is securing all the Indonesian made Avanzas they can

.. and Nissan have now moved 90% of their export production to Indonesia, and it doesn't look like Thailand will be recovering those lost Nissan export contracts either.
