What On-Line Science Research Facilities Are Available In Thailand?

I have exhausted the free research article options I can get on the Internet. I am doing some social science research and would like to know if anyone knows of a library or other option in Bangkok or a surrounding area where on-line scholarly articles can be searched for and downloaded. What is now a hobby at one was a profession and I desire to stay current in my field of interest and maybe contribute a professional article. Anyone have suggestions?

Not so sure on social sciences, PubMed may help with the searching:

Google scholar is surprisingly good for searching:

but the other search engines I know (Scopus, Web of science) require access through a recognized IP adress.

Access to specific articles is nowadays largely through IP adress address as well, although both open access and the fact that some journals make older articles (2 years after publicaiton in some cases) freely available can help, but is difficult to be completely up to date.

University libraries etc normally have much broader electronic subscriptions than print, so even actually going to a library is nowadays not that helpful.

To gain access to articles that are up to date, you really need access through a university server, and even then, there will not be access to all journals.

You might like to consider working with some one in a University, and get them to access the papers and send to you and do the article together. A bit of a horse trade, but may be worth it to you.

Or find a Uni student and trade papers for tuition?
