I Am At The Beginning Of The End Of My Child Custody Battle

Featured Replies

I publicly must thank MikeyIdea for his devotion to the cause , (whats best for the child) = in the best interest of the child.

word are not enough , to thank this man , for his time, experience, and unwavering truth,

I thank you from the bottom of my heart , for the things you have done for my daughter, she will learn , what part you have played in her life and future, soon!

you have turned a bad position for me in court, in to a near level playing field for me to get the correct deal for me and my daughter.

, i will or micheal well write a full detailed account of my case when it is over , which i hope will be at the next court hearing, thats 6 hearings in all.

i cannot give much details now as case is not finished,

but i must say to anyone who finds themselves in my position , for the love of god , listen to MikeyIdea , you may not like what he says sometimes as i have not, but he always talks with truth , knowledge, and for the best interest of the child.

and of course thanks to thaivisa , great forum for us expats.

Nice to hear things are working out:)

Yes MikeyIdea always seems to take the time to come up with constructive help for people, and share his experiences.

Scott, can you link the originial post so that we can read?

The link is here http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/406005-abdution-of-my-daughter-by-my-thai-wife/

For those who want to post commenting on the writing - Have your only daughter kidnapped by the daughter of an alcoholic with a violent past, then get death threats and now, start to concentrate on writing and let's see if you can do it

It been an up-hill battle to say the least. I was absolutely shocked how anti-father the juvenile court was the first time. The mother had clearly planned and set things up colouring the case.

What has helped the most I think is realising and accepting that it is going to take a long time to get through this, be mentally prepared for a very long committment. Mental strength really helps to think clearly and to be able to work on the best long term strategy - That is what is happening now, one year on and it is now Scott that is calm and the mother that is feeling the pressure

Then of course - In the best interest of the child, In the best interest of the child, In the best interest of the child. Juvenile court in Thailand will take a decision (they think) is in the best interest of the child, everyting done and said in court must be pushing what's good for the child

It's not over yet but it's looking much better now :)

Ive just finished reading your original post and all i can say is the very best of luck to you Scott and i hope you get the right result because your child deserves as much.

MikeyIdea, what a good sort you are, helpful, knowledgeable and well intentioned, without your input i'm sure Scott would have found things even more difficult than they clearly already have been.

Hope you all are having a great holiday,

as for me, as Michael said, I am calmer now and looking at the bigger picture . ie my daughters well being,

i wish i had some good advice, but i do not, ok i will say this the older i get , the more i understand, what a fool i was when i was a young man, thinking i knew everything, but the older i get , the more i understand. that i don't know that much at all.

as for michael i can never repay this man , because there just is not enough money in this world to do so, he has single handedly

turned the juvenile court round, to an even playing field for me, and stopped me from going to low in myself,

at this time of year of course i miss my daughter more, but i think this is going to be a good year,

god bless all the kind people on the forum,
