There's even a place to land your private plane...

But I enjoy the blending of the old and the new where there's something for all tastes...

There is always some place to get a nutricious meal for 30 baht (about one dollar)

or you can fill up on inexpensive fresh fruit and veggies in one of the many markets

Or there is always fresh seafood..

As you seem to want to make an issue of it....

I also took the Bali Hai Pier shot (the motorcycle red light trail makes it unique). Again sreen shot of RAW attached.

Which is why I politely suggested that you should mention if you didn't take all the photos yourself. Because you didn't.
