New Year Resolution 2011/12

Featured Replies

Read less news, especially WSJ and The Economist. It is not so much ignorance is the ultimate bliss, but especially after the flood fiasco and the long drawn out financial crises, I find it less and less rewarding to follow the day-to-day news. I will follow more interesting and long term project like the Mars rover Curiosity. Maybe read some history books and good novels.

Eat and discover some new and exotic food. Search for and try some of the many French, Italian, Thai, etc restaurants around Bangkok. Also do some high end home cooking in the process.

A bit lower down the list: Exercise a bit more, learn some Thai and explore far corners of Thailand.

Stop drinking less often.

I suppose, strictly speaking, starting drinking less frequently...

I'll be 30 this year, and have made many promises to myself about things I should do once I'm out of my 20s. So my new years resolution is to keep those promises.
