Hi All,

GF has a 1995 Singer washer and it won't spin. She thinks the belt might have broken.

She hasn't been able to find a repairman or shop to look at it.

Anyone know of a repair man who can get parts? Or who is clever at finding substitutes.

She lives near Thong Lor BTS station.

Can't help you on the repair side but have you looked at the price of new washers?

PS. I bought a new name brand one on sale or around 6 or 7k a year or so ago and the dept. store delivered and set it up for free or dirt cheap. I am not at home now to tell you the size but between three people (wife and teen daughter), we end up averaging a couple loads a week.

Might be a pain in the ass getting rid of the old one though but I bet the GF would figure that out if you told her she was getting a new Washer.
