Slow Bus To China

Featured Replies

Once again I took the bus from Ekkami to Pattaya and made the same mistake of getting the one that stops for every Tom, Dick and Harry. It took 4 hours and I was totally f..... off by then. Where can I get the motorway bus? Some one told I can get if from Mo Chit. Is this correct as next time I think I will jog. I thougt about getting the rail link to the airport then the bus to Pattaya but it seems a rather round about way but probaly still quicker than the moo bahn one.

so you wanted to go to Pattaya....why did you deceptively title the topic to china?

Learn to read Chinese and follow the signs

For us noobs here in Bangkok, how often does the bus from Suvarnabumi (sp?) leave for Pattaya, what's it cost and where does it dump you off in Pattaya?

You take take the bus from Ekkami however purchase the ticket from the first ticket box on the right and take the bus from side the bus station. The one which leaves from outside is the SLOW one.

The title is not deceptive, it is merely a saying for something that takes a long time to finish or accomplish as I am sure with your standard of education you would of understood but then again.....

Buy the ticket on the ground floor close to the Magic Food Court.

The bus actually goes to Jomtien and terminates in the carpark area outside the the Foodmart? food store on Thappraya Road (near Thepprasit Road).

It should be 'slow bus to the North Pole'... :whistling:

Always buy your bus ticket at the window inside the Ekami bus station....there is a big sign in English...first window on the right. The mistake people make is when you come walking up to the bus station and a bus is pulling out and some guy says "patttaya"? and you say yes and hop on....that will ALWAYS be the slow bus....BUY THE TICKET INSIDE and it will have your seat assignment as well as departure time and what bay it leaves from. No need to go to Mo Chit to get to Pattaya.

Sounds like you got swindled by one of the guys who like to hang out near the Pattaya ticket booth.

Just go directly to the ticket booth and buy your ticket from there, and tell the guy trying to sell you the 2nd class tickets to go *uck* off.

Mr.Buffalo

You've been had.
