well random you live in a land of sunshine so why don't u just put up a lot of solarpanels to feed the engines. I'm amazed that there are so little of this in los. Ofcourse you'll not get nearly the amount of power you need but it's free. :o

Ramdom,

Electricity is costing me 3.3 baht per unit.

I also have a figure of 0.5683 on my bill but that is not the price per unit.

Cost of 616 units:

150 * 1.8047 = 270.705

250 * 2.7781 = 694.525

216 * 2.9780 = 643.248

Service charge = 40.9

------------------------------

Sub Total (1) = 1649.378

Fuel tax factor * units = 0.5683 * 616 = 350.07

------------------------------

Sub Total (2) = 1999.45

7% tax = 139.96

------------------------------

Total = 2139.41 baht

:o

It is not free or even close. Have you priced solar panels in Thailand? Then you have to convert it to a usable form and for most things that means battery and maintenance and chemicals and all kinds of things those who think they are green will get upset about. Solar panels work for specific use, such as road signs and phone service but has a long way to get into the mainstream.
