Whenever i download newsgroups it goes quite fast full speed (12mb that i pay for) but after half an hour in the evenings it goes down to 20% of that speed. Does anyone have the same problem. I don't think this happens at night or early morning.

It seems to work.. not sure if this will fail soon too

from my experience they throttle from 12:00-24:00 called and complained they stopped for a while but started up again yesterday

With this little change i seem to be downloading again without a problem.

You are lucky you even have service. I paid for it about 2 weeks ago and am waiting for them to install it in my room. Their excuse? "we ran out of cable"...uhhhhh what???

But thanks for the tip. If I ever get the service and it's slow I will try it out.
