Hi,

I have just registered and tried to send a sms to a friend here in Thailand.

Got following error message: Unicode not yet supported

Any settings I need to change? I am writing this from my thai-bought PC.

Any help appreciated.

What I was trying to say is that I am writing western text from a thai keyboard.

Next to the western letters on the keyboard, there is thai letters.

Clueless :o  :D

can i know the exact text you are trying to send?

we are working for thai support and should be enabled sometime today,

in the meantime you would need to stick to....

letters a to z

letters A to Z

numbers o to 9

the space key

for now please dont use any other characters or symbols.

as soon as thai/other languages are supported we would inform again.

Thank you. I realized that I tried to enter Swedish letters into the SMS (shift+[, shift+], shift+; and shift+')

I tried as instructed and it worked out fine.

Will stick A-Z until other languages are supported.

we are very happy to anounce that support for thai and other languages have been supported for some of the destinations including thailand.

now while sending sms to thailand you can type in thai also.

How long does it take for the SMS to reach the phone?

I tried to SMS my own phone (one2call) and have still no received it :o

Ok, It got through. It took a while only.

today messages sent to thailand between 11 am to 12 noon may have been delayed and delivered between 12 to 1230. rest all systems normal.

the missus has not received the verify code - dont spose you guys can pm me it, can you ?

could you try again?

i have reset phazey...

when you login now it should ask you for your mobile number and email and assign you a new pin..

please try again if you dont get it this time we can find alternative ways of sending you a pin.

Not read all messages so this might have been said before:

Not much point in an SMS service that insists on your having a mobile. If you have a mobile then you can send an SMS.

I don't have a mobile but need/want to send some SMS's so use similar web to SMS services in the UK. It would be nice to have the same service in Thailand but this service is not the thing I need.

Pity you are not told about the need for a mobile phone BEFORE registering. Still I have 100 SMS's I can't use, anyone want to buy them?

If I used up all my 100 points, Do I need to purchase or auto free up load points kindly advise?, Do you received local bank cards as payment as I don't have credit cards?

The service is still in BETA, and it is to be announced later when the service goes live.

We don't have any details yet.

could you PM us your number?

i could trace the problem and act accordingly.

perhaps your country/network isint added to our database yet.

I think this facility is tremendous and look forward to being able to use it.

I have however had a similar problem to many others wherby is says that My provider is not supported.

Please can any one help with this regard.

My provider is Orange and the country is Botswana.

We are very glad to announce that the country 'Botswana' added to our routing network.

Providers supported are :-

Mascom Wireless

Orange (Vista)

cost for both of them is 2 credits/SMS.

David : please log in again and enter your number again. You should get the SMS prety soon.
