Computer Kept Rebooting - Overheating!

There have been many threads about computers shutting down because of over heating.

The advice is always check the CPU and fans for dirt buildup and make sure the case ventilation holes are free.

All good advice but also clean and check the power supply fan is actually working. Easy to overlook when concentrating on the CPU.

Had the kids desktop rebooting itself and turned out it was the power supply fan. Fitted a new fan and all is well.......................
