Puchao Samingprai Ferry Hours

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know what time the ferry at the end of Puchao Samingprai Road stops running? I know many of the other ferry stops (like Khlong Toey or Nonthaburi) have informal ferries that mean you can cross 24/7, but I haven't actually taken the Puchao Samingprai ferry before.

As a second question, I've also taken the Wat Bang Na ferry for years, but only before 20:00 - anyone know if/when it stops running?

Thanks for any advice :)

these things are not much regulated and as you say -if there is demand and thus some baht to be made, some Thai will turn up and offer a service-so that the real TVresponders can cackle on dangerous, etc.

MOST cross the river ferries in BKK (not a little further on in Samut Prakarn) have set hours from 5.00-till around 21.00, some even post them somewhere. Of course speaking Thai will help: its not that difficult a Q to pronounce.: khee hmong=what hour] mee reua=boat] kam-fack= go and back] phit(=close?). But note: it will be Thai time: 21.00 (9 pm for uneducated Brits etc) is saam toom=3 in the evening. 9.00 (am)= saam chao=morning.

PS it would also be helpful to just explain where that ferry runs-noone will know any spot in bigcityBKK

There is a full list of crosstheriver ferries on the forum site linked on 2bangkok.com-there may be more info as to what you ask.

So, basically, you have no idea. Just refrain from posting. I speak plenty enough Thai to get around and can tell you the ferry times for a number of ferries as well as boats stops and informal ferries and longtails that run ancillary routes. I need to know this specific ferry arrangement because I'm on the other side of town and can't verify it. As I pointed out, official ferry times mean nothing whatsoever as anyone who takes the boats regularly can tell you. Thankfully, the Thai Visa denizens are there yet again with no idea of how anything works in Thailand, but plenty of smarm and speculation. Surely if I'd asked where to buy Heinneken at Sanphawut I'd get a reply lol.

If anyone from the area knows, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, can it, please. Thanks for any help anyone has to offer :)

I have no experience so maybe should refrain from posting?

I looked at Google Maps and see multiple ferry routes from Phetra (Samut Prakan), so started Googling the pier names.

I did find this link, where a Google translation says, "A boat with 24 hours, but after 4 pm will ship out every I half-hour."

Are emilyb and on-on related?
