In the "good, old days" we could complete and post off the 90 day report form to Bangkok. This eliminated the need for many to do as much a 400km trip every 3 months.

When Immigration Bangkok moved to it new offices this service was withdrawn.

I have recently heard that it is now available but no-one can confirm it or provide an address to which the form should be sent.

Please, is there anyone out there who can put my mind at rest on this point ?

You can still mail 90 day reports. What was changed was that you have to use the ofice for your own region, so now you have to post it to your own regional office. (only a very few immigration offcies seem to refuse 90 day reports by mail, but the law states you can mail them.

Just follow the procdure described here, and use the address of your own immigration office instead of BKK.

  1. Copy of all passport pages (up to the latest arrival stamp in the Kingdom or latest visa stamp)
  2. Copy of arrival/departure card TM.6 (front and back)
  3. Previous notifications of staying over 90 days (if any)
  4. Completely filled in and signed notification form TM.47
  5. Envelope with 5 Baht stamp affixed and return address of foreigner for the officer in charge to send back the lower part of form TM. 47 after having received the notification. This part must be kept for reference and for future notifications of staying over 90 days.
  6. The above mentioned documents must be sent by registered mail and the receipt of the registration kept by the foreigner.
Send the mail before the renewal date 7 days to

Use registered mail, so you have a receipt of sending it!

Thanks for the info however, I was told at Nana Post office that I needed a 10 baht reply enveloped stamp.

The other thing was I followed the directions to a T about the TM 6 front and back and it seems Immigration said that their is nothing on my back of that from the Airport so I did not need to put a blank piece of paper in with the other documents.

I also scanned and copied and used Color ink for my passport and they always send me

back the paperwork so I did not have to make new copies each time.

Maybe it was not because it was color ink, maybe they do it for all?

In any case that has been my way of sending for the last two years with no problems.

I hope this helps someone?

Just report by mail the change of address and your new 90 day report at the same time.

In most cases it is no big deal and ignored. Only a few offices seem to be very strict on not reporting a change of adress. In that case you can expect a fine of 2,000 baht.

Are Indian Nationals with an Non Imm F visa required to do 90 day reporting?

Terry

Everyone must report. But not sure if that also goes for diplomats, as they cannot be fined. But it in all likelyhood is required of them as well. Their embassy should know.
