Tetanus Shot Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Hello

I need to get a tetanus shot in Chiang Mai. Can anyone give me a suggestion of a place to go as well as a price?

Thanks

As I live in Bangkok, I can't provide an exact place or name to get a tetanus shot. However, I will say that rather than a hospital, you'd be

far better off getting it down in one of the small clinics that cater to Thai's. I was quoted B1,700 and B900 at 2 large-ish hospitals in Bangkok, ended up paying B100 at the local clinic in Bangna

I had a re-vacc shot at Loi Kroh Clinic about 12 months ago. Sorry, can't remember how much

Few hundred baht at most, any clinic, government hospital or government health center can do this.

if you are in a rural area, health center would be both cheapest and quickest.

If you are in the city, any small clinic will work.

So a dog has decided to bite me.

Not a deep wound but some blood.

My last tetanus shot was around 2006.

( got vaccinated as a child in the 70s)

what about this this 1x tetanus booster thing ?

or do I need 3 shots in an interval ?

Thanks

A single booster shot for the tetanus will be fine.

But also need the rabies vaccine. Which will be a series of 5 if you haven't had it before. And immune globulin may also be indicated.
