Is There A Site I Can Access To Watch Live F1 On The Internet?

Featured Replies

I'm in Canada and I don't subscribe to cable or satellite which carry the Formula 1 races. Does anyone know if there is a website out there where I can view the upcoming racing season live on the internet? Thanks in advance.

I may have answered my own question, although I won't find out for sure until the new season starts this month. Live streaming in english from three internet sources, although the BBC may be just for a few races. Apparently Sky Sports in Britain covers all the races live, but no sign of them doing same on internet.

BBC Sports

Ten Sport Australia

Speed on the Fox Network (U.S.A.)

You are quite correct BBC will only show the first I think 4 races Live then it's Sky I do not subscribe so its going to be the repeats for me.

No doubt Sky will introduce yet another channel. Sky Sports F1 and bump up the already silly charges.

I just wish people would give them the push. but Sky know that's not going to happen. And money talks in every sport

We poor folk have to watch repeats of Dads Army. while the rich watch F1 Premier Football Ect Ect

I hope the buggers suffocate in the money.

Sky are advertising it on Sky Sport HD ..

Well I'm sitting here at 3:25 a.m. here in Canada, trying to watch the first Formula 1 race of the season on live video internet streaming and getting nothing.

Ten Sport from Australia looks like it's blocked from overseas access.

Speed Channel from the U.S. shows the event has concluded while I can see the live commentary still running over at Sportinglife in the U.K.

All very frustrating.

You could buy a video pass from www.formula1.com and watch it there. You can get the live timing for practise andd race for free but if you want the live feed and in-car cameras etc, you have to buy a pass.

If I have to pay to watch the live feed of the race then I'd be as well subscribing to the local TV cable company which carries the races here on TSN. However, since I've been unwilling to do that for the past decade, I'm still not prepared today to pay their high priced fees. I'll try something different on the internet next race to see if I can access the race gratis. If not, I may have to do without. Thanks anyhow.
