Need Help Does Any One Know What Kind Of Snake This Is?

Featured Replies

Hi guys as you can see just took this picture of a snake coming down my wall is it POISONOUS OR NOT?

I'm far from being an expert on snakes but that looks like it could be a banded krait. If it is its highly venomous.

looks like a King or Milk snake both are pretty harmless

For my guess, I would say it's a Common, or Blandford's, Bridle Snake, length to 92cm. Non poisonous.

cheers guys got it by its head and put it out lovely little thing though

Its a lesser peanut eating bintang swilling tree snake. I believe that it was heading out fully sated and after covering itself in SF 32.

No idea, but I do have to commend OP. On seeing a snake slithering down my wall, I can assure you my first impulse would not be to grab my camera and computer to post on Thaivisa.....

I would have already been moved into a new place!

It's a Python,it grows during the night & can swallow a person or ex body builders.

Looks like all bases are covered now!

Well done doingok.

From the answers above it would seem that we are pretty useless at identifying snakes! (I could not tell either.)

I have been told that the place best photographed for identification purposes is the head and first part of the body, but........

....................quite difficult to do in the heat of the moment.
