Internet Wifi In Apartment Is Garbage

Featured Replies

My internet here is a big pile of garbage. .23 download speed. Pages won't even load it's that bad.

I'm trying to find a good aircard. Needs to be fast. I live in Pattaya. Where to find one?

I'm in Pattaya also and the internet in my building was recently changed to TMN and they want 350 baht per month but it's just like you said. Not even worth it so I have 3G service on my iPhone and now just use it as my hot-spot to hook into my note book. Screw them. I even called them and said I don't want there service even if they offer it free.

Hello

I am considering buying a 3G aircard as back up for my apartment`s wifi.

Looking at the total aircard link provided above, am I correct in thinking that if I buy either the "Option iCon 461 or Huawei Pocket wifi 2 aircard

i would have the option of using both DTAC & AIS ? or would the aircard be locked on to just one network provider at time of purchase.

I`m also in Pattaya and my understanding of these matters is limited.

Thanks.

Yes, it appears that both those devices support 850/900 Mhz 3G, among other frequencies, so would work with either DTAC (850 Mhz) or AIS (900 Mhz).

Aircards purchased here, even from a service provider, are unlocked.

Just a quick thanks for your quick and useful answer, appreciated.

Cheers.

Crying about B350? I have to pay B500 and the Wifi is unsecured! AND it contantly is up and down daily. We can't go to sim wireless becasue we have a building in our path and a cell tower not really close to our flat. So, we suck it up.

When I have to do any banking its via mobile-laptop connection at criminally slow speeds, even Sunday mornings.

What can you do?!
