Is It Customary To Get Free Service During Warranty Period?

Featured Replies

This was mentioned concerning Ford cars in the LPG thread. I just wondered if this is now considered normal?

On the last Isuzu dmax I bought I got free servce for the first 100K.

To be clear, the service was free every 5,000Km but I had to pay for oil & filter.

Same with mitsubishi, free labour charge for the standard 100k/36 mths warranty, not sure about the diamond warranty (150k/60 mths) as my handbook doesn't mention free labour beyond 36 mths (?).

As already mentioned you will of course have to pay for any parts but watch out for them putting additives in without asking..mitsu proudly charged me an extra 500 baht on the very first 1000 km service for this!
