These are in front of one of our university research labs bred by a researcher. Taken with a Panasonic GH2 and 14-140mm (28-280 35mm equivalent) lens. Post yours here too.

Various other locations

These had to fall from the top of a 200 foot tree before I could get close enough for a photo. Cattle seem to like eating them.

These were all from a short section along a mountain road south of Mae Sariang

This on a Canon ball tree is tucked away behind a gas station next to the toilets ...luckily the beautiful smell is overpowering compared to the neighborhood. Apparently it is native to India and has Buddha associations. Bought three small 3 ftones from a nearby farmer and gave two to the Big Buddha Wat in Phuket...tother seems to be growing well on the farm ...probably won't flower till after I am long gone...

I've got a couple of great shots of sun flowers taken near Mae Hong Son last November. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to post them because there are 3 pretty little girls admiring the flowers in the photos.

Some really great photos shown. I'm now embarrassed with my small set. biggrin.png

Why? They are all indicative of what Thailand has to offer if you take the time to look around. I intentionally didn't include the ones taken at Chiang Mai's natural exhibit. What a wonderful display of orchids that was. Unfortunately, the man I visited it with this year was alergic to some plant and his nose kept running. His wife and I had to terminate the visit early.

The hill sides around Kuhn Yuam in the province of Mae Hong Son is alive in beautiful yellow sunflowers in November. It's truly worth a trip.

Names escape me however here are some flowers I shot at Doi Tung, I'm not even 100% sure if they are Thai or European imports, shot with a canon sx130is.

Just came across this old thread, from over a year ago.... some great images here! probably long forgotten!!!

Perhaps time to revive ? thumbsup.gif

I was thinking the same... These 2 threads could also be merged because the 2 OP's have exactly the same goal..
