NO idea but the house was shaking and things were moving

April 11, 201213 yr ok, Disaster Warning Centre has released this predicted time of possible tsunami for various places in south thailand on the bright side, these are just warnings.... lets hope thats all it is
April 11, 201213 yr Just drove from Patong to Kata. Roads are crazy, thousands of people on the high points, cars parked both sides of the main Karon/Patong road and road choked. Patak road backed up from traffic lights all the way up the hill.

April 11, 201213 yr Helicopter just went overhead in north Patong. Going towards the beach. A lot of people walking up the hill behind me, some trying to protect their cars. Just got a call with a recorded message (in Thai). Wonder if this is a warning message?

"We can't rule out the possibility, but horizontal motion is less likely to produce a destructive tsunami," he said.
