I Initially read this post when it was first posted,I thought to my self "how sad, I will wait to to see what else the OP has to say", A few days later i scroll through 6 pages. of responses, I will confess after the first page I stopped reading and just scanned for the OP's name, and not to my surprise, the OP seems to have disappeared, no addition to the sketchy facts, no thank for the sympathy expressed by many kind respondents, nothing..

And that truly is the value of the anonymity internet forums provide. Some of the earliest replies encouraged nocturn to come on here and share his "pain" with his "friends" in preference to going out, getting rat-arsed and, perhaps, doing something stupid.

Why any normal person would seriously appeal for emotional support from a bunch of people they've never met on an internet forum who've shown themselves to be quite nasty at times is a mystery to me but then again, perhaps the fact that it would be extremely difficult to put a face and genuine persona to the individual behind the forum ID gives rise to the Mitty-esque nonsense this particular poster appears to be guilty of.

He may not have been back on to explain himself because he has, indeed, done something stupid.
