Dear All,

I would like to have new experience and I have been thinking to find a job in Thailand. I have never been to Thailand and I would like to visit it one day. I'm 27 years old girl from Indonesia. I work as a language teacher. I teach English and Indonesian at campus and I am a private teacher as well for foreigners in Jakarta. I have been a private teacher for almost 7 years, mostly for Koreans. I have my English Degree and some work experiences. Is it possible to find teaching job in Thailand for Non English native speaker? Any comments and recommendations are welcome! Thank You!

It is quite possible to find a teaching job for non-native speakers. If you have a Bachelor's Degree in Education, you will be able to get a teaching license with a minimum of fuss.

Asian teachers are usually paid a lower salary than western teachers. Some of the schools with many branches start non-native speakers at 15,000 baht per month, although some non-native teachers earn in the neighborhood of 20,000+.

Shouldn't be a problem to find a job as an English teacher.

Please register at www.ajarn.com ,to see which schools are looking for teachers.

Good luck! wai.gif

I don't think the OP, missowl1984, has been online much. It might be best to try to send a PM.
