Hallo fans of this years Champions League,

in the first semi final Bavaria Munich (Bayern Muenchen) beat Real Madrid at home by 2 : 1.

Mario Gomez struck a 90th-minute winner to move Bayern Muenchen a step closer to appearing in the Champions League final in their own stadium with a narrow 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in the Allianz Arena.

Franck Ribery gave Bayern the lead in the 17th minute of the semi-final first leg, but Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil levelled early in the second half.

Well done Bayern!

Let's see how Chelsea will play against Barcelona in the second semis.

good win by bayern, let's hope it's enough. will be a tough second leg.

think something similar might happen tonight as it goes. i can see chelsea winning at home against barca for some reason. but then getting a whupping in the return leg.

Posted

i can see a narrow Chelsea win in the first leg too. barcelona seem very uncomfortable with Chelsea being such underdogs especially as they are playing rather well of late.

That away goal for Madrid should be enough to set up an El Classico....which will probably be a crap game for the neutral!

Chelsea need to take a big lead over there, as barca will be hard to score against over there, and also stop barca scoring an away goal, cannot see anything other that a barca win though.

That away goal for real madrid should see them through, but footballs a funny old game anything will happen.

Can anyone tell me what channel is showing tonights game?

It'll be on true vision channel 101 probably

Aww man, i thought the CL games were FTA. I need to see this match, even it means booking into a hotel that has the channel.

Edit: FTA = free to air television, non satellite basically.

Yeah, they weren't last night but i live in hope. If not i'll try find a hotel with truelife in the room. Need to see this match.

If anyone else can shed some light, maybe have a look at the tv listings i'd be ever so grateful.

All the Champions league matches are shown on the Thai channels. True just dont show them..probably didnt pay for the rights.

Its a pity because the Thai Channels dont seem to repeat the games at a more sensible day time slot.

I'd post this on a more localised forum. where are you in LOS? Someone could PM you of a specific bar showing the game.

Yeah, i'm new to this forum and still feeling my way around, that's a good idea thanks. I'm in Ao Nang, Krabi.

Very poor decision by Howard Webb to only book Marcelo for kicking one of the Bayern players in the last minute. This type of thuggery merited a red card.

Strange, i have 3 in the hotel i'm at but the game isn't shown here. Ran across the street and watched the game in a hotel lobby so not too bad. Barca have been a bit rubbish away from home all season but amazing at the camp nou. I expect them to progress. All Spanish final i reckon, despite them both being behind at "HT".

Hallo Chelsea fans,

Didier Drogba scored the only goal as Chelsea stunned holders Barcelona to score a 1-0 upset victory in their Champions League semifinal first-leg match on Wednesday.

Drogba left Chelsea dreaming of advancing to their first final since 2008 in next week's return leg at Camp Nou after pouncing on the stroke of half-time as Barcelona suffered their first European reverse of the season.

Well done Chelsea!

Hallo Blues fans,

Barcelona - Chelsea 2 : 2 (Chelsea 2 : 3 on aggregate)

Congratulations, CONGRATULATIONS, for the excellent performance against mighty Barcelona. Down to only 10 men already in the first half, a saved penalty (from Messi!!!) and even got the equalizer against Barca. They ABSOLUTELY derserve to get through to the final of the Champions League.

Well, well done Chelsea!

No, no not Tottenham. My Hamburger SV is looking for a reasonable midfielder. And that little midget seems to fit especially financially (after that missed penalty ...)

Real have virtually won La Liga. If they get to the CL final and win that too what will be going on with Mourinho's already massive ego!

I reckon that away goal is the key for Madrid and they would have to be the favourites against Chelsea. Secondly with Ivanovich and Terry suspended Chelsea will be very stretched at the back and the most significant one for me is Ivanovich.

Magnificent performance last night.

Yes, YES, Y E S, after a dramatic penalty shoot out Bayern Munich reached the final of the UEFA Champions League and will play Chelsea on 19 May in Munich.

After regular time and extra time the score was 2:1 same as in the first leg.

Same as Messi yesterday, superstar Ronaldo was the tragic figure as he (besides others) missed a crucial penalty in the shoot out.

Excellently done Bayern Munich. Congratulation for reaching the final at home. You deserved it! Good luck for the final.

really exciting first half. Dull second half ,equally dull extratime. ANd had to be just about the worst penalties in a shoot out i 've ever seen taken. 0n balance thought the best team went

through.

Hallo my dear Greater Britain friends,

bad news for the German side Bavaria Munich (Bayern Muenchen).

Borussia Dortmund demolished Bayern 5 : 2 to complete their first league and cup double with victory in the DFB-Pokal final.

Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick for Jurgen Klopp's side, who underlined their superiority in German football this season with a convincing win over the Bayern team.

Bayern will face FC Chelsea in the Champions League final on next weekend. Even Bayern's honorary president Franz Beckenbauer claimed the club could forget about winning the Champions League if they played as badly against Chelsea.

On a footnote speculation has grown that BVB forward Shinji Kagawa is set to make a switch to the Premier League. Kagawa was watched closely in Berlin by Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. Ferguson's presence - less than 24 hours before his own side will try to defy overwhelming odds and retain their Premier League crown - does seem significant.

dortmund have been fantastic this season haven't they? and klopp seems to be an excellent manager.

bayern are going to have to pull their fingers out to beat chelsea. can see the pressure of them being at home forcing them to attack, allowing chelsea to counter-attack. which is probably exactly what chelsea would like.

Looking at the stats, it is nothing less than highway robbery.

Of course, Chelsea supporters will look at it as brave defending, which paid off.
