A grief-stricken electrical engineer believes he has found a way to communicate with his dead daughter eight years after her death.

Using his expertise to design and build a series of electromagnetic detection devices, Gary Galka claims to have even recorded his eldest daughter Melissa saying, 'Hi Daddy, I love you.'

Devastated by his girl's death in a car accident on her way home in 2004 at the age of 17, Gary and his family claim they started to experience unexplained phenomena at their Connecticut home days after the fatal accident, according to the

Hartford Courant.

'She started doing things like ringing the doorbell, changing TV channels, turning lights on and off,' said Gary who runs D.A.S. Distribution Inc. in East Granby and lives with his wife Cindy and two other daughters, Jennifer and Heather.

i remember when my grandfather died around 18 years ago, the first person to know was my uncles father, who all thought was barmy... he called my grandmother and explained my grandfather was at peace and he was in the garden with his brother ... my grandmother just thought he had been drinking as why would he be in the garden when he was in hospital and his brother was dead... 15 mins later the hospital rang her and said my grandfather had passed away ...........

Grief can be a terrible burden to carry, and losing an off-spring can be especially difficult to deal with. We are programed to accept our parents dying before us, so when it goes the other way, well, I’m sure you know what I mean.

But, I think this guy needs to get over it, and let it go, I don’t say this to be flippant but for all those who knew and loved his daughter, they too have to keep re-living her death over and over.
