I don't think this happens unless you have been f ing around anyway. they are trying to get people who are a problem, not picking people at random.

one of the reasons I never go out nightlife anymore looking like sht, just a collar shirt helps, trousers gets you respect. sad but true, Thais look at clothes as making the man.

I told a bird I'd met in Khao San Road I'd been fitted up by the coppers, and my mate reckoned it would be on the internet within the day

Turns out it took two days, because she had to email theblether to get the story translated into English

Excess; there's nothing else. Compromise and moderation are for jessies.

These generalisations are epic. I can see the OP on a future topic from you now . . .

"Guys, I got hosed by the Thonglor Police last night. They pulled my taxi over on Sukhumvit at the junction with Asoke. While conducting a search of the taxi, they found a red pill in the crease of the back seat and threatened me and my bird for the night with jail if we didn't account for its presence. Obviously we didn't know so they said they were calling the pick up to take us to the station unless I 'made the problem go away'.

I just don't get it. I had on a crisp white shirt, a delightful pair of slacks and polished loafers that I was convinced made me immune to the attentions of the BiB. I'm distraught cos it cost 30 grand and I can't pay this month's rent."
