What'S The Longest You Have Waited For A Parcel From Home

Just received a parcel my mum sent me 7 weeks ago. It was never opened and in good condition. I remember when my mum posted it she told me that the lady in the post office told her about 10 days lol. (posted from Ireland) So the question is what is the longest you have waited for a parcel to be delivered to you from your home country?

I might add that the package was sent airmail and registered lol.

Not the longest, but the shortest. I received a small package in 6 days from the UK to Thailand.

Am still waiting for some posted from UK years ago But last time my sister sent one to me it took 5 days

I had two parcels sent a few weeks ago. Same size, same weight and the same sort of content in each one. They were collected from my parents' home at the same time.

Parcel 1 took roughly 60 hours.

Parcel 2 took 20 days.

Other parcels I have had sent come anywhere between those two time frames.

About 4 months and about the same for something sent from Hua Hin to Chonburi. The floods might have had something to do with it though.

So about the same time as it takes to pay for something in a Thai department store.

6 weeks is not unusual from east coast US

never get my parcels registered and they arrive from 5 days to 2 weeks later.. only once when it was flooded did it take 6 weeks

From UK ordinary Air Mail; anything between 5 and 18 days.

I received an x-mas packet sent to me from one of my sisters, almost 2 years after it was sent.

Of course, I was working on a ship, so the package got sent to agent after agent, until one agent finally decided to just keep it until the ship returned to that port again.
