Flooding Season In Nakhon Si Thammarat

Featured Replies

When is "flooding season" in Nakhon Si Thammarat? Planning a trip towards the end of the year, and want to avoid the floods they've gotten in the last year or two.

Approx. October through January down there.

Heaviest in November and December.

November is the rainiest season of the month on this side of the Gulf but that said, there was massive rain and flooding in April last year so who knows anymore?

its raining now. but it has not flood yet. normally If the raining continues for 7 days or more, you will get flooding.

  • 4 weeks later...

It should only flood from mid november until mid december... Anything apart from that is not normal... Only been here 11 years.so what do i know...

The april flood was very very strange, even for old thai people as rhey couldnot remember it flooding during summer before...

That is for the city, not the province...
