Rob, you are well olaced to deal there if there is a market. Remember you are an ASEAN company not a farang one,.

Well if you're looking to sell sausages in Myanmar you will have competition. There's a Brit here already doing that.

Your question is about business laws. If you want to manufacture in Myanmar and take advantage of the Foreign Investment Law, minimum investment is US$ 500,000. If you do not need the tax incentives, it's much less.

If you want to sell within Myanmar, you will want to check with their FDA.

I visited a factory just outside of Yangon, and they get 5 hours of electricity per day. Outside of that time frame, they have to use a generator. Diesel is not cheap in Myanmar, and sometimes not available. You might want to take this into consideration.
