Congrats to the Swans. Didn't think they played very well at all, but a wins a win. For us it was a bit like the Spurs game. Dominated for large spells and the team playing to win, but just falling a little short when it came to being able to finish. Once we were down to ten, probably should have totally shut up shop and played for a replay, but didn't, and got caught as the game became stretched. When things aren't going your way they aren't going your way. Just have to take it on the chin and move on, hoping that in the process everyone has learnt a little something.

Whats the latest on MrRed ? he hasn't posted since last year, i do hope he is ok !

Give us a break and go back to your other self. blink.png

Let us suffer in SILENCE thank you coffee1.gif

BT biggrin.png ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE.smile.png

Just concerned about his well being BT sad.png

i tried to warn him this was the way it was going but he just wouldn't listen to me!! facepalm.gif

He instead chose to listen to the bizarre rants of fellow United fan, PeterMik who was saying scary stuff about Moyes being very successful at Man Utd!!!!! facepalm.gif

It really set itself in motion when he got rid of the mountains of experience in the OT back up staff. that deserved a slap for total stupidity if for nothing else!wink.png

No excuses, simply not good enough.

Moyes will have to improve dramatically. I think his decision to get rid of most of the backroom staff was his first mistake, the transfer farce in the summer was another. At the moment, there's little positives to take, but having had 20 odd years of success, then there will always be the odd season of struggle. The ABU's and Spuds fans will of course be pleased, but sad little clubs that haven't won a league title in 52 years don't really count biggrin.png

In all fairness, I don't think anyone gives a rats arse about the FA Cup. If your side is knocked out then it's no big deal nowadays.

There's bigger fish to fry. Not for Man U, though. Nothing doing this season.

don't think that's true at all. it's still a big deal for fans and players alike. try telling wigan supporters nobody gave a rat's arse last season or swansea fans today.

it's been devalued by the premier league and the champions league qualification sure, but it's still a great cup competition. wasn't like moyes played his reserves today was it? though admittedly it is becoming very hard to tell.

Also at the other end of the table clubs have relegation on their minds, when we changed from 2 going down out of 22, to 3 out of 20 it meant that about a third of them are constantly worrying about relegation. What is more important, the possibility of a good cup run or staying up.

At least Moyes is consistent 3 losses in a row, at least last night's loss can be rectified by winning the 2nd leg, but the way the team is performing right now i am not that confident.

Didn't think we did too bad mate. Didn't Sunderland knock out Liverpool and Chelsea? Only half time and only a goal down. All to play for I think.

Sorry guys. I've had to remove a few posts. Please remember Rule 16

I'm on mobile... What's rule number 16?

Sent from my GT-I9300 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

16) Not to post about gambling, betting, pornography, illegal drugs, fake goods/clothing etc and other activities that are officially illegal in Thailand.

Mr. B I presume it's OK to say someone is fav to be the next person to leave, just as long as betting on it isn't encouraged?

Exactly Ups. it's posting things like the odds and how much was put on and won etc that is against forum rules.

^ Rix you are like the Black Knight after a pasting from King Arthur

Three back to back defeats obviously doesn't look good and isn't good, but we haven't actually been playing that badly.

Another thing, a lot of criticism directed at Moyes has been to do with his style of play. People saying it's dull and negative. Last three games have in my opinion been anything but. In the FA cup game when we went down to ten men in the last ten minutes, he could have gone all defensive and played out for a draw. He didn't. He went for the win. In hindsight a mistake perhaps but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Last night we really pushed in the last ten minutes and brought on Hernandez. Didn't really have to do that. Risked conceding another goal and really giving ourselves a mountain to climb at OT. Think it shows an offensive mindset that he hasn't been credited for.

Anyway, was great to see the support our away supporters gave him last night. Class.

you seem to be in a pretty small minority in that view rix. among united supporters and press observers alike.
