I suspect she noticed his interest in someone else and wanted them to go back to the room but he wanted nothing of it. A fight ensued which he did not back down from which resulted in her leaving. Maybe this dawned on her later leading to her creating this fabricated story to take revenge on her boyfriend for "letting this happen to her" by allowing her to leave unescorted back to their Hotel. Whatever the reason, this guy needs to distance himself from this "nutter" as quickly as possible. Just goes to show it does not matter whether a girls is a pro or not they will go to extraordinary lengths to manipulate a man's feelings. The crime of rape is sometimes very hard to prove but in a case where a woman "beyond all reasonable doubt" makes a false allegation of rape she should receive the same sentence as the men she has falsely accuses would have got plus pay substantial damages to the accused if she has named or identified them. Absolutely agree. The idiot’s accusations could have had serious consequences for the men, even to a point where they could have been wrongly imprisoned for years. She had no concerns as to the suffering her negligence actions may have caused, but her only aim was to trick the boyfriend into taking sympathy on her after some pathetic domestic argument with noregards for anyone else. 15 days in as insult to the people who may have paid dearly for her false claims and lies. It's interesting that those Bangla road camera's only seem to work when they can be used to exonerate tuk tuk drivers. And the thousands of incidents committed by the Thai population / mafiosi / thugs operating in that area are swept under the magic carpet as evidence does not exist / has been paid to go away. Never thought of that, Tommo. Yes, I say that is more likely the case. She may have been the worst for drink, feeling angry and bitter with her BF for some reason, she went off astray somewhere and after returning back to her boyfriend in the hotel room, was unable to hide the evidence that she had been a naughty girl so ended up cungering up this cock and ball story. I think subconsciously we feel that we may be judged by their actions. I have to say I find it amazing that grown adults do this whole "What passport did she have, was she a Brit or an Ozzy" kind of crap. I know a lot of people are joking, but you can tell a lot of people are genuinely defending their countries honour. As I have searched and found nothing. And why was this girl being observed by an undercover officer? she hadn`t even committed any offence during that time or was even suspected that she may commit an offence, It just doesn`t make sense. But I ask, as it has now been confirmed that the girl fabricated the whole story, where was she between the hours of having the dispute with her boyfriend and the time she arrived back at the hotel? WHY do these "idiot" [Aussie] tourists continue to bring disrepute on the genuine Australian travellers who go to TH to enjoy the LOS and enjoy the hospitality of the wonderful Thai people. I have been an International Volunteer worker in TH these past 10 years and notice that this sort of news item is becoming more and more frequent. She has brought her country into disrepute, hence I am looking forward to seeing her name in the Media in Australia tomorrow. She is a danger to mankind, and I hope she is given a very wide berth on her home territory. She has abused man hours from her embassy and the Thai police. She has done nothing for her own gender. I hope she suffers for a very long time. What a waste of police resources, it annoys me that when someone does actually get raped and I mean WHEN, they will not get the treatment and undertsanding required to help with the ordeal. He did say this. refering to the word "TOURISTS" It does sort of imply that if a tourist reports a crime then they are lying.
