I'm using Steganos Locknote but lately I have not been able to open the program for more than a few seconds and a red rim appears around the program window. I thought this was done by Ad-Aware Pro that I recently installed so I removed that program but I still have the same problem with Steganos. What could cause this?

Also, even though I uninstalled Ad-Aware it still appears (security toolbar and browsing protection) in the list when I open Programs and Features in Windows. If I click uninstall I get a message saying: "Please wait until the current program is finished uninstalling or being changed".

How do I get rid of this?

BTW, I have tried reinstalling the program but the downloaded exe file wont run.

Hi happynthailand,

Tried that but no mention of it in regedit. I then found out that it's my Avast antivirus program that places the file in a "sandbox" when I open it.

All is now OK. Thanks for trying to help!
