Tourist Visa To Non B

hi , i hold a EU passport.recently had a job offer from thai company.in order to get a work permit quickly,is it possible to change my tourist to non B single entry visa in thailand? thanks

You can apply for the work permit while you are in Thailand on your tourist visa, but to pick it up when it is ready you must first go to a Thai consulate and get a non-B visa.

Thanks for your post. I had the same question, am on tourist visa waiting for school to do the paperwork for Non B. So will have to go to Embassy in Laos.

I have read that someone people can go to Non O from tourist, and wondered if it was the same to non B.

Officially you can convert if you fulfill the requirements for extension of stay.

But one of the requirements is a WP that you can not get without non-B.
